ISDN Access and Calls

ISDN is a high-speed method of sending voice and data on a digital phone line to national and international destinations.

Its speed and clarity mean that customers can use it to send and receive text, voice, video and images in seconds.

With Telstra ISDN products and services under a resale arrangement, customers can market ISDN basic rate access services, including, subject to any ISDN capacity constraints, ISDN 2 and ISDN 2 Enhanced.  For businesses requiring more lines customers may be able to choose from primary rate access services that provide 10, 20 or 30 digital lines.

ISDN services can also be used to build network tails to access Frame Relay, ATM or DDS networks.

Our customers can use ISDN services to establish infrastructure for internet dial access for their customers.
