MegaPoP® provides carrier-grade dial-up access that is scalable and reliable, allowing ISPs to outsource all or part of their dial-up access network requirements. MegaPoP® can replace multiple ISDN services.
MegaPoP allows ISPs to:

With MegaPoP®, untimed local call PSTN dial-up access can be provided to ISP customers through a single national dial-up 019 number. MegaPoP® lets ISPs expand their business with minimal capital investment by offering total dial-up access across Australia.
MegaPoP® terminates dial-up PSTN/ISDN calls on Telstra dial gateways and delivers data traffic on those calls to ISP networks. It uses Layer 2 tunnelling and Telstra Wholesale ATM or Telstra Wholesale Business Grade Ethernet (BGE) for connection. Using only a single Telstra ATM or BGE connection to ISP premises, MegaPoP® makes internet access cost-effective and convenient for ISPs and their customers.
