Electronic billing

eBill

LinxOnline eBill is an automated business to business solution for the redirection and billing of fixed line voice and some data services. LinxOnline eBill consists of two customer interfaces, one for redirection of services and another for delivery of billing information.

The redirection interface is used for churning services from one service provider to another while the billing interface is used for delivery of daily billing files and monthly invoices.

Availability of call data on a daily basis allows service providers to develop their own pricing packages, billing cycles and branding to support their customers.

Receiving daily call data also assists our customers in managing debt and fraud, as well as providing timely visibility of abnormal call patterns and allows our customers to identify or target markets for new product offerings.

Features

  • Automated customer transfer (churn) and billing facility;
  • Operates by redirecting charges at service level as opposed to account level;
  • Provides a daily electronic data transfer between Telstra Wholesale and service providers that includes:
    • service transfer requests;
    • billing data including call records;
    • local call itemisation;
  • Supports billing of fixed line voice services and most data services.

We provide eBill help desk support for queries and fault reporting between 8am and 5:30pm AEST Monday to Friday. For assistance with eBill our help desk can be contacted at EBill@team.telstra.com or on 1800 645 612.

eInvoice

LinxOnline eInvoice is based on the eBill platform and delivers a simpler customer electronic interface. It is ideal for products that are not subject to the eBill churn model and do not have a usage component, such as DSL Broadband, Spectrum Sharing or ULL. The eInvoice electronic billing interface is used primarily to pass monthly invoice files. The daily billing files are optional, and can be delivered on customer request.

Telstra Wholesale account managers will advise on the suitability of eBill and eInvoice for individual businesses.
